City Palace: Rather than being a single palace, City Palace is a group of huge palaces located on the eastern bank of Lake Pichola. These palaces were constructed from 1559 onwards, have several balconies that provide a beautiful view of the Lake Palace Hotel, Jag Mandir and Udaipur City. A triple arched gate or the Tripola that was originally the entrance for the palace now leads to a series of courtyards, overlapping parathions, terraces, corridors and gardens was constructed in 1725. Another important attraction of the palace is the Mor-chowk or Peacock courtyard, whose walls are decorated with the mosaics of the animal in glass. Other notable places include Chini Chitrashala, Bhim Vilas, and Dilkush Mahal etc.
Lake Palace: This beautiful palace built in marble, which has now been converted into a hotel was built from 1743 to 1746. The beautiful palace is located on the Jag Niwas island that lies is situated in Lake Pichola. The palace was constructed a summer house for the royal family and now offers the same hospitality to national and international guests who chose to stay here during their Udaipur trip.
Jag Mandir: Jag Mandir which is famous for its beautiful courtyard, is another island located in Lake Pichola. It is known as the place where Shah Jahan took refuge when he revolted against his father. The place is a popular picnic spot among both tourists and the local people and has a restaurant that is managed by HRH group of hotels.
Fateh Sagar Lake: This lake is situated to the north of Pichola Lake and was originally constructed by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1678. However, in the later years, the lake was severely damaged by heavy rains and was reconstructed by Maharana Fateh Singh, after whom it is named. Another interesting fact associated with the lake is that it was completely drained of water in 1993-94 but in 2005-06, the water was gained restored in it.
Saheliyon Ki Bari: Saheliyaon ki Bari is a group of beautiful gardens constructed, below the edge of the Fateh Sagar Lake. The Bari was constructed for the forty-eight maid servants of a Princess of Udaipur, who came along with her as a part of her dowry. The Bari is beautifully decorated with lotus pools, marble porches and fountains designed in the shape of elephants, which get water from the lake itself.
Jagdish Temple: A beautiful Hindu temple located just in the middle of the city of Udaipur is Jagdish temple. It was in 1651 AD when this temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singh I. Indo- Aryan style of architecture is used in making of this temple.
Monsoon Palace: Sajjan Garh Palace is the other name of Monsoon Palace. This Palace was built to observe the monsoon clouds. In 1884 this palace was constructed by Maharana Sajjan Singh.

Camel Leather Items: A wide range of items including, wallets, handbags, footwear and belts, made form camel leather are extremely popular among tourists visiting Udaipur. The best places to buy these items are the street markets in the colorful by lanes of the city.
