Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nigella seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fennel seeds
  • 1 large Potato, peeled and cut into strips
  • 1 Green Pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 pinch Turmeric powder

 Method

  • Heat the Oil in a Sauce Pan over medium heat for 1 minute. Add the Mustard seeds, Nigella seeds and Fennel seeds. When the seeds start to splutter, add potatoes.
  • Reduce the heat to low and cook for about 5 minutes, until the potatoes are partially cooked.
  • Add Green peppers.
  • Add Coriander, Turmeric, and Salt.
  • Cook for 5 minutes, or until the Potato is tender and the Green Pepper is crunchy and not overcooked.
  • Remove the Pan from the heat and serve.
